Original title: The secret of Terror Castle

Review:

In this book The Three Investigators meet Alfred Hitchcock for the first time and get a mission to find a Ghost House for his next movie. Their investigation leads to a Castle - a Terror Castle.

In this book the Three Investigators and some other characters are introduced in a brilliant way. The plot is not advanced, but very ingenious and fascinating. First and foremost this is a story with a fantastic thrilling atmosphere. We also meet some odd figures and fantastical tricks. There are no real villans, but that is not necessary. Stephen Terrill is fascinating enough.

This is a masterpiece full of joy of writing and funny details.

Brilliant!!!
